Scheduling Sourdough Is Easy…

We have been at this for just over ten months now. There have been so many changes at the bakery in this short amount of time I can hardly believe it! Through it all, one thing has remained constant: my goal to figure out how to get great artisan bread to my customers at just the right time.

It turns out that scheduling sourdough is easy compared to figuring out people! I can’t tell you how many people have asked for a bread schedule so they can know when to come in and get their favorite, but this has been a very difficult puzzle to solve. That is until we started up our new Community Supported Bakery Subscription. Customers are able to reserve a loaf of bread a week and choose a pick-up day that works best. As we had hoped, the pick-up days have become our biggest days of the week.

Now we would like to announce the next piece of the puzzle. In order to be grow into other markets such as restaurant sales and adding a CSB subscription in Columbus we will focus our retail efforts on the following schedule:

Wednesday      11:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m.

Friday               11:00 a.m. — 6:00 p.m.

Saturday           8:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m.

It may seem like less, but it is actually more! We will have the shelves stocked with up to eight varieties of bread and all your favorite pastries. There are three easy ways to make sure you get you DeRego’s Bread: 1) Sign up for a CSB Subscription. 2) Purchase online up to several days in advance and pick it up during regular business hours (coming soon.) 3) Just come in to the bakery and buy it off the shelf!
